It is important for you to be on time for class and we begin promptly at 8 AM. Students using their own firearms must have them in good condition; instructors will inspect all handguns prior to qualifying. If you wish to use one of our Glock 9mm semi-autos, we will provide them at no charge, except for the cost of ammo. Only factory ammo may be used (no reloads); you will need a minimum of 50 rounds which may be purchased at Quail Creek.
Class is usually over at 7 PM, however, a large class may run long so please plan a flexible schedule. You may bring your lunch or eat at one of the several places close by; the instructors can give you directions.
If you are renewing your license bring your packet from DPS! New licenses will get packets on class day.
• Payment is due on class day; we accept check, credit card, or cash. Course cost - New license is $125.00, Re-cert is $75.00. This includes fingerprints, photos, firearm qualification, and all required class work.
• We encourage everyone to get a semi-auto license, which will allow you carry any legal concealed handgun not just revolvers.
• Be sure to bring your payment, handgun & ammo, packet from DPS (if renewal). Dress comfortably, shooting is done outside.
